Dermedix Advanced Wound Care is seeking a skilled clinician (NP, PA) to treat patients throughout Milwaukee WI and surrounding areas up to Green Bay. Full-time. Nurse duties and responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a Nurse is to provide the highest quality care to patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes from treatment plans. Some common Nurse duties include:
- Assisting patients with procedures and examinations
- Conducting interviews to collect patient medical history and symptom information
- Administering with wound care treatment
- Assessing patient vital signs
- Contacting patients regarding upcoming appointments
- Educating patients on medical conditions and preventative care
- Coordinating care with multiple Physician specialists and other medical providers
- Updating patient medical records
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure documentation meets industry standards
- Monitor and document wound healing progress using evidence-based protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Travel to patients’ homes within the Milwaukee WI and up to Green Bay area.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Ability to work independently while following established treatment protocols
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with wound care
- Experience in wound care is a plus
