Position: Neurosurgery/Spine Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities:
– Assist neurosurgeons in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurosurgical patients.
– Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
– Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
– Provide post-operative care, including wound management, pain control, and patient education.
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
– Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neurosurgical care.
Qualifications:
– Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
– Current PA or NP license and certification.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in neurosurgery or orthopedic spine surgery or related field.
– Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neurosurgical and spine surgery procedures and techniques.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
