Position Overview
Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician looking for a low-volume, high-quality clinical environment with an unmatched schedule? A dedicated Critical Access community hospital in a picturesque region of Wisconsin is seeking an MD or DO to join their emergency care team.
With an annual volume of just ~6,800 visits and a commitment of only 4 shifts per month (offered in flexible 12- or 24-hour blocks), this position is designed to protect you from burnout while keeping your clinical skills sharp.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.

Triage, stabilize, and manage acute patients efficiently.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop care plans, and write admission orders.

Utilize the integrated MEDITECH Expanse system for seamless, accurate documentation.
Qualifications

Education: Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO).

Licensure: Active or eligible for a valid Wisconsin medical license.

Certification: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine; active DEA certification.

Experience: Proven clinical success as a career emergency medicine physician.
