Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including acute care and hospital medicine. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, tube feeding, and neonatal ventilator management as needed.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, particularly in ICU settings.
- Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs to promote wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients across various departments.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in acute care, hospital medicine, or public health is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform necessary procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed, to meet patient care demands.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
