OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical diagnosis and treatment for management of patients in the primary care setting.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Document patient information accurately using appropriate coding systems, including ICD-9.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to acute care and senior care settings.
- Familiarity with coding practices, particularly ICD-9, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
