Position Overview:We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in wound management, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide comprehensive wound care for patients with acute and chronic wounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous insufficiency wounds, and surgical wounds.
- Perform wound debridement, skin grafting, and other advanced wound care techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in wound care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA) degree from an accredited program.
- Board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Active Washington state license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Wound Care Certification (WCC), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in wound care, dermatology, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Pay: $224,900.00 – $245,740.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
