Job Title: Wound Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Position Overview:We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in wound management, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide comprehensive wound care for patients with acute and chronic wounds. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous insufficiency wounds, and surgical wounds.
  • Perform wound debridement, skin grafting, and other advanced wound care techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in wound care.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA) degree from an accredited program.
  • Board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Active Washington state license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Wound Care Certification (WCC), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS), or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in wound care, dermatology, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $224,900.00 – $245,740.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
