APP (NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT) – GAMMA KNIFE CENTER
Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) in our Gamma Knife Center. This position will collaborate with The Department of Radiation Oncology faculty providers for treatment and care of oncology and radiosurgical patients.
The APP is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides evaluation and medical management for patients at Harborview Medical Center. They will follow patients before and after their procedures, including providing moderate sedation during the procedure, medical supportive care, post-procedural care, as well as long-term surveillance. The ARNP/PA-C will also be involved in the evaluation of patients for other forms of radiation treatment as medically appropriate and work collaboratively with the team members from various specialties to coordinate care of their patients. All clinical responsibilities are performed within the scope of practice, institutional privileges, and under the supervision of an attending physician.
