We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C, FNP-C, or ARNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Occupational Medicine, specifically in performing Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, placement physical examinations, and OSHA respiratory clearance evaluations. There may be opportunity to develop skill in evaluating and treating acute and chronic L&I injuries, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct DOT physicals in accordance with FMCSA regulations and maintain FMCSA certification.
- Perform comprehensive preemployment physical examinations and assessments.
- Conduct OSHA respiratory clearance evaluations and other occupational health assessments.
- Provide high-quality patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries with professionalism and knowledge.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for our injured workers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with patients, employers, and other healthcare professionals with confidence and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certified as a PA-C, FNP-C, or ARNP, with CURRENT WA STATE LICENSE
- Current FMCSA certification is required.
- Prefer candidate with at least 3 years of experience performing physical exams and preemployment evaluations.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
