ON-SITE REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER
OAOC is seeking a full-time certified physician assistant to be a part of our team. You will be joining us at an exciting time of growth, as we expand to two locations! Here you will have the opportunity to be a part of a progressive and highly skilled medical team. You’ll be an essential part of our team for ensuring the best patient care in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting.
Some important parts of this role include:
- Taking patient history and performing appropriate physical exam.
- Interpreting and evaluating patient data as authorized by a physician for the purpose of determining management and treatment of patients.
- Consulting with physicians.
- Adjusting patient care plans by reviewing and monitoring treatments and therapy plans.
- Administering or ordering laboratory, radiological and diagnostic tests that will assist with medical management; explaining the necessity, preparation, nature, and anticipate effects of treatment, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
- Prescribing, recommending, and regulating appropriate pharmacologic medicine.
- Documenting appropriately and communicating with physicians in a timely manner as required, including, but not limited to evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, billing documentation, treatment notes, and other reports as requested.
- Conducting in-chair infusion suite follow up visits, including patient education and reassurance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must possess excellent computer skills and EMR experience
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant from an accredited school with an active and unrestricted license
- Ability to obtain appropriate licensure in WA State and DEA license
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience preferred, but primary care also welcome.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
