Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in both outpatient and acute care settings. This role involves performing diagnostic evaluations, assisting in family planning, and engaging in clinical research, among other responsibilities.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in family planning services, providing education and support to patients regarding their options.
• Perform medical coding for accurate documentation of patient encounters.
• Participate in the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments as required.
• Administer gastric lavage procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide botulinum toxin treatments as part of aesthetic or therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practices.
• Deliver care in outpatient settings while also being prepared to handle acute care situations as they arise.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to manage critically ill patients effectively.

Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
• Knowledgeable about family planning practices and patient education strategies.
• Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate billing and documentation.
• Experience with MDS assessments is a plus.
• Skilled in performing gastric lavage and administering botulinum toxin treatments safely.
• Strong background in clinical research methodologies and practices.
• Ability to provide care effectively in both outpatient environments and acute care settings, including ICU experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $136,356.00 – $141,578.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
