At TPMG Independence Family Medicine, we are committed to providing all our patients with compassionate, high-quality care. We treat people of many ages, from young children to geriatric patients, providing comprehensive preventative healthcare, management of chronic conditions, acute care, and more.
We are seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. FULL TIME or PART TIME candidates are welcome to apply.
The right candidate will join a team currently consisting of one Physician and two Nurse Practitioners, and will be supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team who will free you from many administrative tasks to focus on patients. The successful candidate will be skilled, conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator, and organized.
Position details:
- Flexible, part-time position consisting of 16-30 hours per week
- Busy, growing practice in Virginia Beach, VA
- Shared on-call schedule (very light call volume)
- Opportunity for learning and growth
- Majority private insurance patients
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Current DEA license
- Current national board certification
- Current CPR certification
- Experience preferred but not required.
