Job Title: Physician Assistant – General Orthopedics (Total Joint Focus)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team and work alongside a general orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty focus in total joint replacement. This position is clinic-based with no surgical assist responsibilities. The PA will play an integral role in the evaluation and management of new and returning patients, coordinating pre- and post-operative care, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and follow-up visits
- Take detailed patient histories and perform musculoskeletal exams
- Order and interpret imaging studies and other diagnostic tests
- Coordinate and manage pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, surgical expectations, and rehabilitation
- Perform in-office procedures such as joint injections and aspirations, when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate closely with the supervising orthopedic surgeon, physical therapists, and care team
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Orthopedic or musculoskeletal clinical experience strongly preferred
- Strong interest in joint replacement and arthritis management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
