Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (New grads are welcome to apply)

Location: Springfield, VA

Job Type: Full-time

Shift- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join our team in Northern Virginia. Our gastroenterology team focuses on educating patients about their GI conditions and treatment options, including medications, minimally invasive procedures, and diet modifications.

Core Responsibilities:

· Conduct Monday-Friday consultations and follow-ups.

· Examine, diagnose, and coordinate treatment plans for patients with acute illnesses and chronic disease exacerbations (under physician supervision).

· Order, interpret, and diagnose lab tests and imaging scans.

· Record progress notes, provide patient education, and modify treatment plans as necessary.

· Write or refill prescriptions as appropriate for diagnoses.

· Review patient results, including pathology reports.

· Perform other gastroenterology-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Active Physician Assistant License in the State of Virginia.

· Certification as a PA with prescriptive authority.

· New grads are welcome to apply.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
