Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant

Compensation up to $95,000, based on experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant to perform initial and follow-up medication management assessments for clients who suffer from Psychiatric and/or Addictive symptoms. The Physician Assistant shall recommend and prescribe psychiatric and detox medications, when appropriate to clients through Tele Services and/or through direct face to face contact in an outpatient setting. The Physician Assistant should be comfortable with the patient population, function independently with minimal supervision by the Psychiatric and Buprenorphine waivered Physician.

Education and Experience Required: A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university; be a licensed physician assistant with current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification and Buprenorphine waiver; and have clinical experience with psychiatric and substance use populations.
