Job SummaryThis is a full-time on-site role as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner at Collaborative Health Outreach of Virginia in Norfolk, VA. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing patient care, conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, and assisting/performing medical procedures. We are seeking a mid-level provider who understands the importance of lifestyle modification, good nutrition and other preventative measures to guide patients to better health without relying solely on pharmaceuticals. They must me be willing to expand their knowledge to embrace the evidence based wholistic patient approach. Salary is negotiable with experience. Compensation for CME, licenses, etc available.

Responsibilities– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans- Perform medical procedures iincluding but not limited to as suturing, ingrown toenail removal, pap smears, lesion removal, hormone pellet placement and IV nutrition.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records with electronic health record systems- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications· Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, Master’s Degree Preferred

· Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

· State license to practice as a Physician Assistant

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment

· Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare

· Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
