Physician Assistant in Child Neurology with a focus in Neurodevelopment

We are eager to welcome a Physician Assistant to our growing Pediatric Neurology team, providing comprehensive care to patients with Neurologic and Neurodevelopmental needs. This position offers a variety of experiences within our specialty clinics. Participate in our Autism Diagnostic Clinic, facilitating assessments and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to create a therapeutic plan to optimize care for young children with developmental delays. Grow supportive longitudinal relationships via our Neonatal Neuro-ICU Follow up Clinic, caring for infants and children who have been discharged home from inpatient care where they may be diagnosed with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, epilepsy, structural brain differences, etc. This role also includes some clinical experience in our General Neurology clinic where we provide care for children with seizures, migraines, tics and developmental delays as well. This is a full time, outpatient clinical position, where the PA will work closely with the Neurologist to provide continuity of care and communication for patients and families. We maintain a commitment to training and providing ongoing collaboration, such that prior Neurology experience is not required. Required Qualifications:

Current or pending NCCPA Certification, Virginia Board of Medicine PA license and DEA license.
