Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), formerly Tidewater Primary Care Physicians, P.C., was formed in 1992 with four primary care medical groups in Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, Virginia. Today, TPMG has expanded its practices to include over 220 primary care, specialty physicians, and advanced practice clinicians who provide care to patients throughout the Hampton Roads and southeastern Virginia.

TPMG Coastal Endocrinology is seeking a full-time Advanced Care Practitioner to join our team in Newport News.

Endocrinology is a branch of medicine focused on the endocrine system, which helps to regulate and balance hormone levels in the body. TPMG Coastal Endocrinology Newport News treats patients who suffer from conditions and diseases related to hormone disorders such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary problems, menstrual disorders, osteoporosis and more.

The practice consists of three Physicians, four Advanced Care Practitioners, and support from an experienced administrative and clinical team that performs clinical administrative tasks freeing you to focus on patients. The right candidate would be conscientious, empathetic, a good communicator and organized.

Position details:

  • Full-time position: Monday-Friday from 7.30am 4.00pm
  • Call is office/phone only, one week on per 8-week cycle
  • Established, busy, growing practice in Newport News, VA

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current DEA license
  • Current national board certification
  • Current CPR certification.
