Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave
Practice Setting: Inpatient- elective orthopedic surgery
Call Ratio: no call
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Will APP be Working Autonomously: Yes
Supervising Physician Present During Assignment:APC will be rounding and coordinating discharges for elective orthopedic patients. Supervising providers will be available but not on-site.
Training or Experience Required: Orthopedic experience
Procedures: dressing changes, removing lines
Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
Facility Reimburse for the Following Costs: Rental Car (standard economy), Hotel ($150/night), Flight (standard economy)
REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified – Required
- Active VA license & DEA – REQUIRED
- BLS – Required
