Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within an office clinical settings. This role involves providing high-quality medical care, assisting physicians in various procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting assessments, performing diagnostic tests, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist in various medical procedures such as electrocardiogram, intramuscular injection, wound care treatment
- Provide care for patients in occupational health settings, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical evaluations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Proficiency in performing essential medical procedures including ventilating patients when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 – $62.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
