Washington Internal Medicine, is a physician-owned, single-specialty practice in Virginia, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to oversee and coordinate the delivery of patient care in an internal medicine practice setting in Chantilly, Virginia.
Job Requirements:
– Master’s Degree- State License & PA Certification- NPI & DEA- Professional and caring demeanor with good communication skills.- Computer Savvy, Basic Microsoft office and EHR skills.- Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD10 based coding and Basic CPT coding.
Responsibilities:
– Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical exams- Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.- Interpret diagnostic test and labs results for deviations from normal.- Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.- Administer or order diagnostic tests- Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval- Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed medications and health maintenance- Electronic health records (Kareo) are used throughout all facets of patient care- BLS preferred.- Effectually communicate with Physician on patient data, diagnosis and treatment plan.

– Compensation: $45-50 per hour plus competitive benefits!
– 2 weeks PTO (Accrued)
– 5 Paid Federal Holidays.
