OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and acute care, with the ability to perform various clinical procedures. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. This position requires proficiency in data management and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV infusions, dermabrasion, and other relevant treatments.
- Manage patient care in a clinic setting, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Participate in research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance clinical practices.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Assist in the training of medical students or new staff as needed.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in data management systems; experience with Epic is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures such as dialyze and IV infusion effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $118,051.00 – $140,000.00 per year
