Nurse Practitioner Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner/ Physician assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in urgent care and internal medicine, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working in a cardiology office dealing with complex patients. The Nurse Practitioner/ physician assistant will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient care

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with standards set by the institution.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities with a general cardiologist specializing in HF , valvular and vein management and EP physician

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
  • Experience in urgent care, internal medicine, or related specialties preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform assessments and interventions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of ophthalmology practices is a plus but not required.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to established standards of practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
