Our brand-new, nurse practitioner-run clinic, located conveniently near Fort Belvoir, is staffed exclusively by experienced mid-level providers, including Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). We offer a comprehensive array of services tailored to meet the diverse healthcare needs of our patients. Position Overview
As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Optimum Health LLC, you will play a vital role in managing patient care across a broad spectrum of health issues. You will work closely with our team of physicians, medical assistants and administrative staff to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
– Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
– Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
– Providing preventive care, including health education and counseling
– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
– Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
– Review all labs and clinical documents in a timely manner
– Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with best practices in family/internal medicine
Qualifications
– Active Virginia NP or PA license, DEA license and Board Certification is required
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in family or internal medicine
– Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
– Athena EMR experienced preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
