About Milestone Treatment Center

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our clinical team. The APN will play a pivotal role in the psychiatric and medical care of our clients, collaborating with therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver high-quality, integrated behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients in outpatient and/or residential programs.
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team.
  • Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Monitor client progress, response to treatment, and side effects.
  • Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care coordination discussions.
  • Maintain compliance with Milestone policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide direct patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and conducting physical examinations
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines
  • Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain and update medical records
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures

Skills:

  • Proficient in using medical systems and electronic health records
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent patient assessment skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Ability to accurately document medical information and maintain detailed records
  • Competent in performing vital sign measurements and interpreting the results
  • Skilled in IV insertion and management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90.00 – $115.00 per hour
