Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our clinical team. The APN will play a pivotal role in the psychiatric and medical care of our clients, collaborating with therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver high-quality, integrated behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients in outpatient and/or residential programs.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with the care team.
- Prescribe psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Monitor client progress, response to treatment, and side effects.
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care coordination discussions.
- Maintain compliance with Milestone policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and conducting physical examinations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines
- Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain and update medical records
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
Skills:
- Proficient in using medical systems and electronic health records
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to accurately document medical information and maintain detailed records
- Competent in performing vital sign measurements and interpreting the results
- Skilled in IV insertion and management

Pay: $90.00 – $115.00 per hour
