OverviewJoin our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality patient care in environments ranging from long-term care facilities and assisted living communities to hospitals and outpatient clinics. Your enthusiasm for caregiving, combined with your expertise in medical procedures and patient interaction, will help create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for those we serve.

Duties

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times
  • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
  • Support clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine, hospice care, and behavioral health settings to deliver seamless patient service
  • Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers for patients with mobility challenges or those requiring sub-acute or post-acute care
  • Document patient information accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
  • Engage with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities, providing compassionate support tailored to their unique needs in home & community care environments

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by state licensing boards
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation
  • Prior experience with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting using Hoyer lifts and assisting with patient transfers
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a genuine passion for caregiving and patient service
