Job Title: Physician Assistant

Amazing opportunity for a licensed PA or NP to join a thriving practice in the Northern, Virginia area.

About The Role:

Amazing Ophthalmology practice looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse practitioner to join their team in Northern Virginia. Practice is located under 40 minutes from Washington DC. PA/NP would be seeing 18-30 patients per day and the position is full time or part time, Monday-Friday no weekends. Paying between 120k-150k depending on experience. The practice would like a surgically oriented PA/NP to play a central role in their refractive and cataract surgery ecosystem. This position is ideal for a PA or NP who enjoys pre- and post-operative surgical care, close collaboration with surgeons in an office-based surgery center, and close relations with the referring optometric community. Candidate must have Ophthalmology experience. The PA/NP will focus on:

  • Cataract surgical planning with Optical biometry and IOL calculations.
  • ICL implantation planning using the Quantel Absolu UBM & Anterion OCT.
  • Preoperative optimization with IPL and Radiofrequency Treatment.
  • Option to be first assist with all office-based surgeries if desired.
  • Assisting with laser procedure planning including LASIK/PRK planning using Alcon Sightmap.
  • Post-operative outcomes monitoring for Cataract surgery, LASIK / PRK, and ICL implantation

Schedule:

Full Time or part time, Monday-Friday no weekends.

$120,000 – $150,000 salary based on experience.
