- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and document detailed patient medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications.
- Perform procedures such as suturing and administering injections.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and lifestyle management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record systems (ECW preferred).
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Virginia.
- Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
- Prior experience in pediatrics or pediatric urgent care is REQUIRED.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (ECW preferred).
- PALS certification (Required).
- Spanish proficiency preferred to serve diverse patient populations.
- Expected Hours: 10-20 hours per week.
- Schedule: Flexible shifts, including rotating weekends (10-hour or 5-hour shifts), evenings, and weekends.
