We are a patient-focused walk in internal medicine practice in Fairfax, VA. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Nurse Practitioner to join our team on weekends.
Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide direct patient care during weekend hours, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive patient care including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
Perform routine procedures and order appropriate tests
Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
Document all patient encounters in EMR accurately and timely
Provide patient education and counseling
Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays
9am to 2pm
Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Virginia
Certification as FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
Current DEA license
BLS/ACLS certification
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $68.00 – $75.00 per hour
