We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Chesapeake. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in the management of patients with complex pulmonary conditions, and contributing to our mission of improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Assist physicians in managing critically ill patients in the hospital setting.
- Perform procedures such as suturing and airway management as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options.
- Stay current with advancements in pulmonary medicine and critical care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Strong background in critical care medicine or related field.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with telehealth services is a plus.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $109,215.43 – $120,000.00 per year
