Position Summary: Looking to Hire for a fast-growing Urgent Care. We are looking for that team player, self-motivated APC that could enhance our patient experience and care.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides medical care and treatment to patients, under prescribed guidelines and direction of Physician.
  • Candidates should be caring and compassionate, willing to work with a variety of age groups.
  • Performs treatment and diagnosis of patients, prescribing medications, documentation in EMR and billing correct medical codes.
  • Conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
  • formulates and implements treatment plans for illness management.
  • When appropriate, discuss the case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
  • Prescribes appropriate interventions and medications.
  • Contributes to excellent patient care.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed PA/NP in the State of Utah.
  • DEA and Utah Controlled Substance license required.
  • Basic Life Support (ACLS) certified, or specialty certification as required by the department.
  • Motivated, hardworking individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask, have strong interpersonal skills, and also be able to work well on a team.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve objectives.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact in complex situations, work cooperatively with peers, senior management and represent the Clinic in a professional Manner.

Hours: Must be able to work a 3-day work week that include weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a Full-Time Position. Hours will vary Monday through Sunday 8am to 8pm.
