Full Job Description
Are you ready to practice medicine where patients actually get better?
At Rising Health Specialty Clinic, we don’t just manage symptoms—we solve medical mysteries. We are a premier private clinic dedicated to root-cause medicine, treating complex conditions like Lyme disease, autoimmune disorders, and hormonal imbalances.
We are looking for a High-EQ, Self-Starting Medical Assistant who is tired of the “conveyor belt” feel of traditional healthcare. In this role, you aren’t just a clinical body; you are a key architect of the patient experience. Our patients choose us for our medical innovation and our compassionate, concierge-level care.
The “Rising Health” Difference
- Innovation First: You will be at the forefront of integrative health, assisting with IV nutrient therapy, bioidentical hormones, and cutting-edge functional labs.
- Relationship-Driven: We prioritize a “white glove” experience. You’ll have the time to make patients feel seen, heard, and supported.
- Autonomous Culture: We value “owners,” not “renters.” As a self-starter, you’ll have the agency to manage patient flow and optimize clinic operations.
What You’ll Do (The Role)
- Concierge Clinical Support: Perform vitals, histories, and EHR documentation (Opti Mantra) with a focus on detail and empathy.
- Advanced Procedures: Administer vitamin injections and assist with IV therapy protocols for patients seeking transformative results.
- The “Face” of the Clinic: Manage high-touch patient communication (calls, texts, and emails) with a polished, professional, and warm demeanor.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison between patients and our specialized providers, ensuring no detail in their healing journey is missed.
- Office Stewardship: Proactively manage schedules, billing inquiries, and inventory to keep our “boutique” environment running seamlessly.
Who You Are
- A Natural Empath: You have high emotional intelligence. You can read a room and provide a calming presence to patients who may be navigating complex health challenges.
- A Self-Starter: You anticipate needs before they are asked. If you see a way to improve a process, you take the initiative to make it happen.
- A Wellness Enthusiast: You are genuinely curious about functional medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions. (Bonus points if you’re a supplement nerd!)
- Technically Proficient: You are comfortable with blood draws (venipuncture) and navigating modern EHR systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years as a Medical Assistant (Required).
- Certification: CMA/RMA preferred. IV Certification is a major plus (we will help the right candidate get there).
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication. You should be as comfortable writing a professional email as you are drawing blood.
Why Join Our Team?
- Whole-Person Care: Work in an environment that values healing over “checkboxes.”
- Professional Growth: Gain deep knowledge in functional medicine and specialized clinical protocols.
- Wellness Perks: Employee discounts on supplements, wellness programs, and a team culture that actually practices what we preach.
- Full Benefits: 401(k) with matching, comprehensive health/dental/vision, paid time off, and professional development assistance.
