Job Title: Part-Time Physician Assistant (PA)Location: Murray, UtahPractice: Olympus Spine and Pain
Job Description:Olympus Spine and Pain is seeking a qualified and motivated Part-Time Physician Assistant to join our specialty pain management practice in Murray, Utah. This position will start at one full day per week, with the opportunity to grow as the practice expands.
Schedule:
- Part-time
- One day per week to start
- Either Thursday or Friday, full day
Responsibilities:Common Physician Assistant duties include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate patients by obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations
- Develop and manage treatment plans under the supervision of a pain management physician
- Work closely with a pain physician to manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab results
- Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and state regulations
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Assist with care coordination, referrals, and ongoing patient management
- Adhere to all clinical, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Utah
- NCCPA certification
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or related specialty preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
