The NP or PA plays a vital role as Practitioner, supporting healthcare administration and ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic. They provide direct patient care and charting, and are responsible for overseeing all medical activities including; training, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintain a safe and organized clinic environment and uphold the clinic’s medical standards in accordance with state regulations and standard of care. Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Utah
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred

Essential Duties, Skills and Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the provision of evidence-based, high-quality patient care in the clinic.
  • Train and oversee MAs, RNs and clinic staff for charting, ordering, prescriptions, record-keeping, and any other areas training is needed.
  • Order and review labs with patients and design appropriate medical interventions.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of hormone optimization therapy for men and women.
  • Insert bioidentical hormone pellets and/or prescribe hormone products.
  • See patients in the clinic and via phone for hormone consultations.
  • Prescribe and dose weight loss peptides such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.
  • Prescribe and administer peptides for athletic performance and other applications.
  • Update weight loss peptide, peptide, IM injection, and IV protocols.
  • Administer Intramuscular and intra-articular injections.
  • Be proficient in, or open to training in, regenerative medicine, including the application of platelet rich plasma, human cellular tissue products, and more.
  • Work with clinic owners to develop new medical protocols and applications.
  • Develop and implement new clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices for new services.
  • Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, patient safety, and patient experience.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and compliance with medical standards.
  • Ensure that all medical staff members adhere to established protocols.
  • Stay current with medical regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership in setting strategic goals and objectives for the healthcare organization and in introducing additional services.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding medical services and enhancing patient access.
  • Ensure that all healthcare providers are appropriately licensed and credentialed.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in medical practice and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, especially HIPAA.
  • Represent the healthcare organization in the community and with external stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with referral sources, healthcare partners, and community organizations.
