Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urology clinic team. The provider will work collaboratively with supervising physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of urologic conditions in an outpatient setting. This role is ideal for a clinically strong provider who values patient-centered care, efficiency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage common urologic conditions including BPH, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, hematuria, UTIs, elevated PSA, erectile dysfunction, and other related conditions
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and training
  • Provide patient counseling and education regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and follow-up care
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR system
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in call coverage and clinic workflow as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current NP or PA license in Utah
  • DEA license and prescriptive authority required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Urology experience preferred but not required; specialty training available for qualified candidates
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in outpatient specialty care
  • Knowledge of urologic procedures and treatment plans
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume clinic schedule efficiently

  • Monday through Friday
  • Clinic-based position
  • Full-time
