The Division of Physician Assistant Education and Sciences at the University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah is seeking applicants for a position, career-line (rank and track DOQ). The program’s close affiliation with the University of Utah Health Sciences Center provides faculty an opportunity to become involved in research, clinical work, and education. Job Responsibilities: We seek an experienced physician assistant educator for a faculty appointment, with rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have primary responsibilities within our postgraduate training programs, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as academic advising and remedial instruction as needed. This position is eligible for remote work. Qualifications-Required: Applicants must have a Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited academic institution. The following are also requirements:
  • A current NCCPA certification
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Interest in areas that align with our division’s mission
  • A strong record of scholarship
  • At least seven years (10 preferred) of experience in higher education, including teaching, research, or academic administration
