Full Job Description
Part-Time position at a privately owned high acuity Urgent Care. We are a walk-in only clinic that services the general public as well workman’s compensation, DOT Physicals, Occupational health and weight loss consultation.
-Part-time hours 24 hours/week – 12-hour shifts. Closed Sunday and major holidays.
Responsibilities:- Provide care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans- Perform minor procedures, such as suture/staple placement, toenail extractions, minor burns/wounds etc.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:- Experience in emergency room (ER) or urgent care is preferred but not required.-Occupational/Workman’s Comp/DOT Physical Exams is preferred but not required.
Requirements:- Valid PA/FNP license in the state of Texas- Certification as a Physican Assistant/Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
-DOT Certification preferred. (If not certified, will be required to obtain asap)- Current DEA certification- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
