Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Locums Nurse Practitioner or PA to join our team in providing exceptional rehabilitative care with U.S. Physiatry. This role is vital in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring high-quality service delivery within our network of facilities.
This locums role will be functioning in support of a new and developing IRF in Temple, TX. The purpose of this role is to support the unit as the census at this location grows. This is an on-going locums need for full-time inpatient coverage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or PA license in TX.
- Full-time availability for locums assignment
- Strong clinical skills with experience in acute or post-acute care settings.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes.
