Job Summary
Join our dynamic Interventional Radiology practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through minimally invasive procedures. Duties

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations tailored to interventional radiology procedures.
  • Provide patient education on procedures, recovery processes, and follow-up care plans to promote understanding and compliance.
  • Document all clinical encounters accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with appropriate certification for advanced practice roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology or related fields such as critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with medical documentation and CPT coding is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to image-guided interventions.
  • Skills in vascular access procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and infection prevention measures in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
