Pediatric Private Practice Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary
Beloved and well respected pediatric practice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who has experience using EPIC EMR to work alongside six providers in a busy pediatric private practice, delivering high-quality patient care and supporting efficient clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide direct patient care, including assessments, symptom management, parent/patient education, and patient flow support (triage and exam room efficiency).
· Administer vaccinations and perform/coordinate diagnostic testing.
· Maintain accurate medical records in EPIC.
· Provide clinical leadership by supervising medical assistants, assigning daily tasks, and supporting staff scheduling to ensure efficient delivery of care.
· Mentor and onboard new staff; provide training and reinforce compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
· Support quality and safety efforts, including monitoring adherence to evidence-based guidelines and addressing patient concerns/complaints.
· Manage medical supplies and vaccine inventory, including ordering and stocking.
Required Qualifications
· Active and licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
· 2 or more years of experience in pediatric nursing.
· Proven leadership or supervisory skills.
· Strong communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and providers.
· Experience utilizing EPIC electronic medical records.
Schedule
The practice is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (one-hour lunch).
Some flexibility in hours may be available for a candidate who meets all required qualifications.
Compensation and Benefits
· Hourly rate based on experience in direct care, leadership and EPIC experience
· Benefit options include health insurance, dental/vision and retirement plan.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
