Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and vital signs. This role involves providing essential medical administrative support in a office settings. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to handle front and back office.
• Meet and greet patient, and collect payment
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare provider
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs, measurements of blood pressure, Pulse and weight, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling for follow-up appointments.
• Provide administrative support including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient care processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or a similar role in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and vital signs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing healthcare practices.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care
