We are currently looking for a FT Speech Language Pathologist with excellent customer service – energetic, friendly and caring – to provide our guests with compassionate and personal treatment.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work within our skilled nursing facility to provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to residents experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) impairments.

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at functional outcomes.

Perform bedside swallow evaluations and provide recommendations for diet textures and compensatory strategies.

Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, including PTs, OTs, Nursing, and Dietary staff, to ensure holistic patient care.

Provide education and training to residents, families, and facility staff regarding communication and swallowing safety.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with Medicare and facility guidelines
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred (CFY candidates may be considered based on supervision availability).
- Bilingual (Spanish / English Speaking) preferred.

Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with geriatric patients.
