Full-Time Emergency Medicine (ER) Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)- Odessa Regional Medical Center

About the Role
We’re hiring a full-time ER NP or PA at the Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, TX.
- Shift Schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM daily
- Location: Onsite at a facility with 12 ER Beds
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Emergency Medicine (ER) NP or PA, your role will include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and assisting in the Emergency Room
- Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to develop care plans
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
- Prescribing medications and providing education to patients and families
- Documenting thoroughly within Meditech
- Responding to acute situations and coordinating transfers when needed
- Supporting continuity of care and handoff communication
Qualifications
To thrive in this position, candidates should have:
- Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas
- 1–2 years of Emergency Medicine experience as a provider
- Strong clinical judgment and confidence in managing urgent cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Meditech (preferred but not required)
- A compassionate approach and commitment to community care
