Job SummaryOPS Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Pediatric SLP or SLPA to join our outpatient pediatric therapy team in Palmhurst, TX. We are looking for someone who is dependable, collaborative, and committed to providing quality care for children and families.
This position includes providing speech therapy services to pediatric clients with speech, language, and communication needs. The ideal candidate values teamwork, communicates well with families and staff, and is motivated to grow clinically in a supportive outpatient setting.

Duties
- Provide pediatric speech therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting under the appropriate scope of practice.
- For SLPs: complete evaluations, re-evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical oversight as appropriate.
- For SLPAs: provide treatment services under the supervision and direction of a licensed SLP.
- Deliver engaging, child-centered therapy sessions using age-appropriate activities and evidence-based strategies.
- Follow individualized treatment plans designed to support each child’s speech, language, communication, and functional goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, SLPs, OTs, and other team members to promote carryover and consistent progress.
- Monitor client progress during treatment sessions and communicate updates or concerns to the supervising SLP as appropriate.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation for daily treatment notes, progress updates, and required clinical records.
- Educate and support families with practical strategies to encourage communication skills at home.
- Participate as part of a professional, collaborative team committed to quality care and positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Texas license as an SLP or SLPA, or eligibility for licensure.
- Pediatric experience preferred, especially in outpatient, school, or early childhood settings.
- Strong interest in working with children with speech, language, communication, and developmental needs.
- Ability to provide engaging, child-centered therapy sessions.
- Strong communication skills with families, caregivers, and team members.
- Dependable, professional, and able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Willingness to collaborate, receive feedback, and continue growing clinically.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required.

Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on licensure level, experience, availability, and position type. Final pay details will be reviewed directly with qualified candidates.
