Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Clinical Medical Float, an important role dedicated to providing flexible, high-quality patient care across several clinic settings. As a Clinical Medical Float, you will be a versatile and proactive healthcare professional, seamlessly adapting to several areas within a pain clinic: front office (Receptionist) and back office (Certified Medical Assistant). Your expertise will ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences while supporting our clinical team. Key Responsibilities

Administrative/Front Office (Receptionist): Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting co-payments, and maintaining the reception area.

Clinical/Back Office: Preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, assisting provider with procedures, and managing patient flow.

Core Competencies & Requirements

Adaptability: Ability to learn new electronic health record (EHR) systems and protocols quickly.

Customer Service: Using empathy and exceptional patient care to provide a positive patient experience.

Communication: Solid interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and providers.

Reliability: Strong punctuality and dependability in support of others on the clinic team.

Certification: Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is desired.

Position Summary

A Clinical Medical Float position is a versatile, multi-area role blending direct patient care, clinical support, and front desk support, while requiring strong medical knowledge, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
