Join Our Growing Psychiatry Practice

Greater Heights Holistic Psychiatry is a physician-owned outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in the Houston area.

Our practice offers advanced psychiatric treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato (Esketamine), pharmacogenetic testing, and lifestyle-based treatment approaches. We believe in treating the whole person—not just symptoms—and creating a positive environment for both patients and providers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage common psychiatric disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications under physician supervision
  • Conduct follow-up visits and medication management
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current Texas Physician Assistant License (or eligible before start date)
  • NCCPA Certification (PA-C)
  • Eligible for DEA registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)

Preferred

  • Experience in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health
  • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care with a strong interest in Psychiatry
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Schedule

  • Full-time 8 am to 5 pm ( 1 hour lunch break + 40 mins admin time off / day)
  • Monday–Friday
  • Day shift
  • 12-18 patients a day ( 60 minutes for New patient eval and 20 mins for follow up)
  • In-person
  • No weekends or call
