Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Family Medicine. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans and appropriate referrals.
- Obtain appropriate imaging and lab studies, prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with HIPAA regulations, DEA guidelines, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Evaluate and assess motor vehicle personal injury cases and make appropriate referrals for physical therapy and surgery as necessary.
- Evaluate and assess geriatric patient needs for activities of daily living, fall risk, and certify adult day care participation.
- Perform well woman exams and perform procedures such as laceration repair and abscess drainage.
- Evaluate and follow-up patients in undergoing weight care.
- Utilize EHR system to document medical records accurately and efficiently while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in staff training, compliance based initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance evidence-based practices within the practice setting.
Requirements
- 2+ Years NP or PA outpatient practice experience
- Experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Weight Care, Geriatrics, Personal Injury preferred
- Valid Texas license as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certification
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR platforms
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to family medicine and orthopedics.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to educate patients on health coaching strategies for chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Mandarin Chinese language proficiency preferred, Spanish proficiency a plus. Language skills highly desired but not necessarily required.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10), MIPS, Personal Injury Cases.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 21.0 per week
