We are a fast-growing interventional pain management practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pain management or related specialties, with a strong interest in procedural medicine and outpatient care. This position plays a vital role in evaluating patients, formulating treatment plans, supporting in-office procedures, and ensuring continuity of care for individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with chronic and acute pain, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans focused on pain reduction and functional improvement.
- Collaborate closely with interventional pain physicians to support procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
- Conduct follow-up visits to assess treatment efficacy, medication management, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Participate in identifying hospital/clinic conversion patients and ensuring timely onboarding and follow-up.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, including medication usage, interventional options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed NP or PA in good standing with state board.
- Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or primary care strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with outpatient procedures and patient care workflows in a specialty setting.
- Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
