Position Highlights:

Kelsey-Seybold is actively seeking a Dermatology Per Diem Physician Assistant with the desire to focus on Medical Dermatology.

The provider extender will work in a clinic setting supporting the dermatologist physician at that location.

It is the expectation that the physician assistant will extend the reach of the attending physician in an effort to more effectively and efficiently provide optimum care to the Kelsey-Seybold patient population.

Performs specific duties delineated by primary supervising Physician

Performs full skin exams on dermatology patients

Evaluates and treats dermatologic conditions for all age groups, including children

Performs patient education for dermatologic conditions independent of supervising physician

Performs minor procedures, like biopsies, without in-room supervision

Required Qualifications:
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners
- Has the ability to facilitate and incorporate the full breadth of PA training into the practice
- Able to perform high level medical judgement and decision-making skills
- Capable of obtaining excellent dermatological skills

Minimum of 1-year Dermatology experience preferred
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $54.33 – $83.41 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
