Summary:
Seeking an experienced bilingual Physician Assistant to join an established practice. Our practice has four locations (Mesquite, Garland, Richardson, Sunnyvale). The position is full-time. At PedCare, PA, we understand that nothing is more important than the health and safety of a child. With this in mind, our mission is to provide the highest quality health care services for children for an underserved, and predominantly Hispanic, community in the greater Dallas area.

Our flagship location, Pediatric Clinic of Mesquite, has operated in Mesquite for nearly twenty years. It all started in 2000, when Dr. Nuñez opened up a solo practice in the heart of Mesquite. We quickly outgrew the initial office and opened a flagship location on I-30. Since then, we have opened three more locations: the Pediatric Clinic of Sunnyvale, Pediatric Clinic of Garland, and Pediatric Clinic of Richardson.

Our team consists of approximately twenty Board Certified Pediatricians and Physician Assistants, as well as a dedicated staff of medical assistants, lab technicians, and a friendly administrative staff. In order to provide the most comprehensive care, we strive to stay on the forefront of technological developments. We also believe that precise and timely results require state-of-the-art facilities.

As our population is mainly Spanish-speaking families – we do require all candidates be bilingual.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Unless stated otherwise, all duties are essential. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population
  • Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions
  • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate
  • Works with supervising physician to coordinate patient care activities as required
  • Follows established policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Attends medical staff meetings and general staff meetings, when applicable
  • Maintains a professional relationship with patients and staff
  • Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives

Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
