Full-Time Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic Surgery

Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing orthopedic and sports medicine practice. This position is primarily based in Fort Worth, with occasional clinic coverage in Keller.

We are looking for a motivated, dependable provider who enjoys working as part of a team while also being comfortable practicing independently. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and committed to providing an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial orthopedic patient evaluations
• Manage follow-up and postoperative visits
• Evaluate and treat occupational and work-related injuries
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic surgeon
• Review imaging, therapy progress, and postoperative recovery
• Provide patient education and coordinate ongoing care
• First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Participate in hospital orthopedic call coverage
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation
• Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care

Qualifications

• Current Texas PA-C or Nurse Practitioner license
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Experience or a strong interest in sports medicine is a plus
• Surgical/first-assist experience preferred
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, commensurate with experience
